Angling Trust announce the England Disabled F.I.P.Sed World Championship team for 2018

The Angling Trust is pleased to announce the England team to compete in the 20th FIPS-ed Coarse Angling World Championships for anglers with disabilities in Croatia next year.

The England management held an assessment day on the River Soar at Sutton Bonington on 25th October, the event was fished to FIPSed International rules and provided England manager John Weeden with the opportunity to select the team for the World Championships.

The team will consist of; John Weeden (manager), Mark Eves, Mark Russell, Alan Chadbone, Elliot Fay, Roy Wells and Keith Watson.

Keith will not be fishing in the World Championships next year, but the England Management felt that it will be good experience to travel with the squad and be involved. Keith will be one to look out for in the future following a good assessment day.

The England Disabled team do not have a sponsor and the team will be covering their own participation fees in 2018. However, if anyone would like to sponsor the team or provide any donations it would be greatly appreciated.
