To do this the float must feature a long body that can keep you float in position with minimal control requirements. The Carp 2 features long a diamond-shaped highly-buoyant balsa body, that has become a noted and favoured style of body for open water presentations, especially when fishing on the deck. The Carp 2 also feature a long hollow bristle, making this pattern extremely stable and great for coping with surface tow. The sight bristle or tip is 1.7mm in diameter, making it ideal for bigger hook baits such as worms, paste, meat and larger pellets.
The Carp 2 features the same rugged paint finish as the Carp 1, with a durable carbon stem and our unique black stainless steel spring eyes. The real stand out feature of the Carp 2’s is the long ‘banded tip’, which can really help to aid bite indication, especially when the float is shotted to the central black band. This enables you to perfectly register a all bites and in particular lift bites.
